Gas is up about 35% under Trump. Prices rose about 86% under Obamas watch. But I don't expect any of the Dirty Diaper Gang to believe anything other than its skyrocketing. Hell they won't even believe a respected and noted scholar on their side.

Ummmm...no.

Gas was $1.85 when Obama took office. It was $2.32 when he left. That's an increase of 25.41% over the entire 8 years he was there.

Gas was $2.32 when Trump took office. It is presently $2.85. That's an increase of 22.84% in less than 2 years.

The reality however, is that the president, regardless of who he is, has very little to do with the price of gas. It is, quite literally, controlled by OPEC more than anything else.

Remember when Municipalities went Bankrupt, cut programs, police staff, fire depts. and having to reallocate funds for the jump in fuel prices due to a hurricane 2000 miles away disrupting a few off shore oil platforms under the Bush Admin?

We are still recovering from that over site.

The Oil, Prison, Pharm Industry, (Our Leaders) loves an uneducated market.

It will be interesting see the shape of things 6 months from now.
I imagine lower standards/regulations just to get over the effects of the storm.

I tuned in for a display of athleticism and an escape from reality. They've added more to the program and brought reality to the forefront. Im not discrediting the message, police brutality is some very real bs that needs reeled in. But dont shove that in my face when I'm trying to watch football the one or two games a year I get around to. Not having a tv at home helps keep everyone's bs at a distance.

I wonder as well where we will be in 6 months. Not much more than any past administrations though.
