College life

I need to find a different college. I've never really liked the one I'm at now, but it was convenient and now they've basically got me by the credit hour testicles. I've got about a year to go, I'm going nuts, and don't know if I'm gonna last that long.

I don't know what it is, the school isn't really bad, but it's not good either. It's a model of mediocrity. In my life I've been to great schools and terrible ones, and I'm beginning to think I even preferred the bad ones to where I am now. What I mean is, the good schools I actually enjoyed, and the bad ones, well, life there sucked, but hating the place, at least it gave you something to focus on. This, I just don't know.

I've been thinking maybe I'll transfer out but I don't really know to where. What I'm looking for is maybe a smaller school (the one I go to now has about 20-25,000 students) with some good people. Any thoughts?

Well you said you only have a year left so I'm assuming like 30 credits or so, so I would just tuff it out for the year, unless you can find a transfer that will take all your credits. What about taking winter, spring, and summer classes and just banging it out Before te next fall? It's a shitty situation to be in but the more you dick around the longer you will be wasting money/loans

I checked into wrapping it up like that, but I won't be able to afford it, due to when they disperse my loan money.

I, absolutely, loved college. If I had gone when I was younger I would be a professor today, I loved it that much. My vocabulary expanded, my mind expanded, I couldn't believe what I was capable of, like, taking 15 to17 credits a semester and driving an hour and a half each way for 3 years. It wore out my car.

Buck up, finish your 30 credits. Somewhere between here and graduation you might meet or connect with someone or something that can change your life forever. Stay the course. Some employers don't care what your degree is in. They just want to know that you can stick to a long range plan and you can complete a hard task. I have never worked a day in the field I was trained for, but it has opened doors.

Edit: Change majors if you want but stay in school.
