When I find a person like you advocating higher taxes on this forum, I find it hard to believe that they would be lockstep in favor of a party that is against their own best interest. Sure there is always an exception to the rule, however, I trust you're not one of them.

For some higher taxes..Hell me and my wife next year will certainly pay a higher tax, but why should I complain when I still get so much ???? My only argument is to make sure my taxes go into something I believe in...hmmm like health care for all..not some foolish war or other wastefully things.If it saves life's , most times I'm all for it.

I received my BS in business in the mid 80s.
