Hey there, I'm in same situation, Colorado, two days of frost coming, 29 degrees, but unable to move all inside. Should I pull or try to get two weeks more if they live through? Most trichromes are still clear, will content degenerate from the frosts and possible snow? Do they have any chance of surviving outdoors? I'm on the fence, any ideas?

My thoughts, but too large an area, too late today to start covering, possible snow tonight, could create a canopy over area but little else.

I'm not far from you and we are getting frost tonight. I put down a layer of compost and a few more inches of mulch and I'm crossing my fingers. They are too big to cover (8-13 feet). Last night we went down to 26 and they didn't skip a beat. Didn't even have the extra compost and mulch I put down today. Another cold night and I think they can take it - then two more nice weeks - I'm game ...

Mine are in the ground, which helps. If yours are in pots, you can bring them in, even to a shed. I had just one in a pot (a little mutant I didn't bother to transplant) and I brought her into a barn. If you can't bring en in, insulate the shit out of them. If you can cover them, do it. I would if mine were smaller. I considered cutting the tops off them and covering but am banking on their hardiness.

If they do get frost bit, it should only be leaf damage. If the damage is bad, wait until the heat of the day and gently harvest and trim. The bud should be fine. If they bear tonight's frost, they will have at least a couple of week's nice weather as a reward. Still, the process is very nerve-wracking ...
