Colorado State prop 64.

But you only get like 100 days to grow right? It must get wicked huge up there. I've seen the cabbages and pumpkins, always wondered about the grass man.

okay they only way I see you flowering a strain under 22 hours of day light is an auto flowering strain.

22 hours of light.....are you saying that the plants are flowering with 22 hours of light?

No, it's 22 hours during the peak of summer; then it heads back the other way. At the 12/12 point they start flowering. It gets cold before they finish but these are mostly very hardy plants.

serious?!? you can flower 3 plants but you can only posses an ounce??? umm why doesn't that add up to me? any novice can pull an ounce per plant not too mention outdoors sheesh! okay i'll calm down now. thats just crazy though. -_-

I thought about it that way too. But anytime where one may be subject to search would probably be in a public place or while driving. If your at home and have a few pounds they really can't do shit unless your breaking some other law really. Like selling it, or smoking crack. lol

I'm not sure we get 7-8 weeks of 12/12.

plussssss... i dunno about you, but the indoor lighting keeps my seasonal depression down :)

True dat. I have not grown outdoors here but from what I've hard about the infamous MTF, back in the day, they got to 12' tall and the word is that they finished after the first frost. I know that Afghanistan and other areas have a similar environment and I'm just guessing that some strains are better suited for extreme north and some for equatorial climes. I do know they are a lot tougher in some ways than most give them credit for. I can't wait to experiment with outdoor growing up here just to see how long they will survive.

That'd be an interesting grow, I saw one on another forum that was in Cali or somewhere nice year round. It was about 6-8' and bushy all over. Looked crazy good.

Only downside I honestly see is the cold at night. Other than that, yeah, you should be able to rock and roll.

My friend in CO just uses a cheap cold-frame greenhouse. It has a heater, exhaust fan and some supplemental lights, and it's apparently like growing in an open field, minus the temperature issues.
