I've ben on the forum a few months now and never scrolled past the growing forums. I felt I wasn't a "medical" patient, so I stayed back.
I lurked on RIU for over a year and didn't "come out of the closet" until January of this year.
Nice place to meet like minded people. I cut my teeth in the general growing forums and seed and strain reviews.
This is so peaceful.
Hey Painted Chef, I am a 25 year member of the ACF, and a CCA graduate, class of 1992. Got my CEC ACF status in 1998.
Still doing it professionally here in the Fort Collins area. I bet we may have a few things in common.

I make some awesome mj truffles. The cream works great in the Ganache. I can get a pretty good dose in a small 1.5 oz. truffle.
I'm sure you already tried this. It beats brownies all day long, just costs five times as much.
Basil pesto from mj infused olive oil is great with pasta. The basil and garlic almost make the mj flavor profile indiscernible.

Ok I'll shut up now about food.
I have a small perpetual and a veg tent and clone/seedling nursery.
I am taking down two Boss Hogg Purple phenos next week.
I have some DNA 91 Krypt, four weeks in veg and some TGA Querkle also four weeks in veg. Haven't sexed them yet, but my numbers should give me a few females.
I also have some DNA Sleestack x Skunk three weeks in flower.
My greatest challenge to amendment 64 is I use all regs. I always end up culling males. (except in the summer when they get put outside for pollen collection) keeping the plant count straight while waiting to sex them can be challenging.
There are three of us residing in my home, so you do the math.
I'm glad I found a group of less hostile people. Hope I didn't ramble too much.

thats awesome you got a purple pheno of Boss Hogg. mine are not showing purple at all and its very close to harvest. seems like a lot of people are growing that right now since they were given away as freebies from the tude. nugs are huge tho and have an awesome flower to leaf ratio. gotta love that Chem Dogg 4

Boss Hogg is the best plant I have grown in a long time.
Chem 91 bx kind of. (the genetics are sketchy, it is CC gear)
It simply knows how to grow itself. There is no need for LST, topping, cropping, mainlining.
It spreads itself out during stretch like a candelabra.
It produces copious amounts of rock hard, fuel funk, super dank!
It is one of those "Desert Island" plants.
You know the one you would pick if you could only grow one strain for the rest of your life.
I have already shared a couple cuttings and any one who wants to know more, can PM me.
They gave it away as a freebie during the Christmas bash last year at the Tude. I got two regs and both were girls.
One was frosty, shorter and more indica.
The one I kept is a taller more sativa dominant purple one.
If any of you out there are still sitting on these, I would drop them and clear your room! (and if you care, get some odor control!)

We gotta talk about that biscotti soon. I'm always trying to apply food science to incorporate as much butter , oil, etc. to my medibles.
Removing the egg yolks from brownie recipes allows you to increase the budder by almost a 1/3. I just add the whites and compensate for the loss of fat with more budder!
I am curious how you get a good amount of mj into the biscotti recipe. Awesome!

Well I have only made them once, haven't had much demand for them right now, seems to be more of a winter edible. I basically take any recipe that calls for butter and I replace it with my cannabutter. The way I get super strong edibles is by using the butter buds and minor to zero amounts of trim. I use a 1oz buds to 1lb of butter ratio, lecithin and let it roll in the crock pot for 3-4 days. Making sure not to go over the 250 degree, so I usually toggle between low and warm most the time. Makes good strong butter with minimally weed taste In the edible. Even more strong is a coconut oil extract, makes the effects last longer and is stronger due to the lipid profile of coconut. I use a 3oz of bud to 2 cups of oil, this is extra strong for edibles, so they are not for the light weights.

Ack, the knowledge base here sometimes blows me away. As far as a method for growing, I am all about Hydro, using the 4" rails popularized as the StinkBud method, NFT/aero. It has served me well, but had to build the growing racks from scratch with stuff from the hardware store. The recipes for mmj edibles have me dazzled, please continue as I take notes...

best tasting flower I have ever had. the agent orange smells like a frehly peeled orange. The Maui/bb taste fuckin great too. The bloodwerck dom Chernobyl is a great high. In short cannabiscult knows what the fuck he's doin.
