Comet Panstarrs

Starting tonight you can see comet Panstarrs on the western horizon (very low on the horizon) just after sunset. The best time to see it is 40 minutes after sunset. Too soon and the sun will blot it out, too late and it will be below the horizon. This will improve as time goes on. So, if you're interested, find someplace where you can see the horizon and keep an eye out. It will be visible to the naked eye. If you don't know which way is west then watch the sun go down. That's the west. :p

Yeah, NASA went into Rick's shop wanting to sell the comet's name for $1,000,000. Rick called up his buddy who, after looking at it, determined it was only worth $100,000. NASA was willing to settle at $500,000 as long as they took out the "w" and added an "r", so that it wouldn't be completely obvious.
