Well with the current economic state and the fact I smoke too much I decided to join the community again lol. This is actually my second grow with these “gelato” bag seeds. First grow went great using General Hydroponic 3 part system with cal mag supplement in coco/perlite mix. Took 12 weeks to get 100 milky trichromes!!! But here’s the new grow!
Found these seeds in a half ounce of really good smoke sold to me as gelato (black market lyfe) based off the firmness of the buds and sparsity of seeds I took a educated guess and assumed these seeds came from a banana or a plant turning hermy during a grow ops.. I hoped they were all females!! Well after a fast test grow and a friends grow, so far 12/12 female!!
Beans planted into prepared rock wool and planted directly into plain rinsed coco mix. popped end of Nov, one died off quickly for unknown reasons, no problem! Popped another one and back to 6. Started under a t5 light hood in a 2x2. Maintained sub 80f for early seeds and then went to low 70s after giving first nute feeding.

Dec 31 transferred to 3 gals of reused coco mix. Unknown to me at the time, I though I had flushed and rinsed this soil completely. It was actually the wrong batch that holy had roots removed. I wouldn’t discover this till after my second feeding, set me back a week at least! But flushed ppm to 300ppm and started back a normal feeding regiment when soil dried out.
looking rough after the transfer, soil looks dry but that was additional coco added afterwards.
Jan 6 looking good! Wish I topped that 2 leg bastard again when it was in the 2x2 but better late than never!
Jan 13th. Decided to try out my old clone machine again, got it prepped and took a few clones just for fun lol, also playing around with how well seed germination works in direct hydro, again just playing around.
Jan 24th swapped to hps after reading data that shows hps grows more lengthy, which is what I’m looking for with a scrog to fill! Moved clone machine to my 2x2 and stated work on a new table to allow dual level of growing. Roots popped fast, first sign of roots was after 7 days and I’ve had about 50% seed propagation via direct hydro rock wool.. not really a viable method lol

Jan 28th rocking and rolling! Just weaving and tucking any new inch gained! Table for 2x2 is done and hung with a t5 hood and a cheap full spectrum led
