Comment on my CFL Flowers

The red petioles accompanying the necrosis of mid leaves, which was preceded by nute burn, makes me think I was over nuting.

Missed the comment that included the red, that said.. would have to agree, as red would point to N,P,K, or Mg - no argument there whatsoever. :D

Perhaps the high nitrogen from maxigrow was blocking the other nutrients. I will switch to pure bloom for next watering.

The site feed chart says I was using the right amounts per feeding, just needed to switch to bloom sooner me thinks.

Next grow I will switch to pure bloom after 2 weeks from flip. I was just scared I would get nitrogen deficiency.. whoops.

Tis all good, just tinker a bit with it until she's back to normal - you're doing well with it so far :D

Well hopefully that fresh water will help the plant get rid of any excess nitrogen in the soil.

So did you see the roots in the pic? Fricken crazy.

Yup I did, they're lookin' good for the most part and those roots are pretty damn crazy - agreed :D

Day 54 - 12/12 Day 30

IMG_0827.jpg

SO we have good news and bad news. The good news is more buds are filling in an I am seeing more frost.

IMG_0828.jpgIMG_0826.jpgIMG_0825.jpg

Bad news : Over the last two days she has shown extreme phosporous deficiency! I don't think she liked being without nutrients last watering.

I watered today with 3/8 tsp bloom and hope to see a stop to her eating herself.

Her roots are so crazy, I am wondering if I should even do a plain water feed. I am growing in soiless after all.

SHE IS HUNGRY!!!!!

Makes me feel so bad when my plant suffers.

It will be nice to be working with clones later this year and multiple grows of the same strain so I can get shit dialed in.

If you go organic(living soil) you won't have to worry about feeding Pie! You can do water only and have straight green!
Food for thought for the next op :joint:

Wow, and agreed on the P-def without question - how long did it take to get to the progressive, almost advanced-stage P-def? Definitely hungry, and would even say plain water at this juncture may want to be removed.. agreed on that one too. Nutes should help in that respect, unless there's a shifting pH issue for some reason I couldn't guess at given that you're pretty vigilant about keeping an eye on all of the basics, and scoping out your ladies regularly.

I waited Way tolong to switch to bloom. I should of had her on bloom 2 weeks ago. Then this prob wouldn't of happened.

That is what I think. I will keep an eye on her the next two days and see what happens.

Ph is always checked.

It was showing signs of deficiency about a week and half ago. But I wasn't sure what I was seeing. I wasn't sure if I was over nuting, nitrogen toxicity or deficiency.

Next time I see red petioles I am going to switch to bloom.

I was being overly cautious about switching to bloom, because my second grow was switched early to bloom and got nitrogen deficiency.

Live and learn I guess.

Only like 4 fan leaves are affected, and those need to be tucked under the bud branches soon. So hopefully I have corrected the problem and those fan leaves won't hurt my yield too much.

If I can get two ounces off her I will be super stoked.

Her affected leaves are now curling up and dying.

What is weird is her buds are growing bigger and filling in the nodes.

The pot was pretty thirsty. Watered with 3/8 tsp bloom again. She drank the whole thing.

So I need to check every 2 days now .

I hope this means she will be pushing out alot more bud soon.

Just make sure your stuff has Mg in it, that's what the yellowing looks like to me, but the brown reminds me of my P def. I got last year.
If you noticed a growth spurt in the buds, you are getting close-week to week and half at the most probably.

I hope I fixed the problem and she has enough green to get her through those weeks tho. Prob in a week or two I am gonna be watering damn near every day.

Man it looks nice to me...sorry just comin in on the ass end..lol..I'm a n00b and haven't made it that far yet, but I heard that they can suck up as much as double nutes toward the end of flower stage..IDK, but really look good to me.:weed:

Gee, I guess I wouldn't have made that dumb comment about the time if I hadn't got sidetracked after the first pic and actually looked at all the pics instead of commenting and sending so I didn't forget what I was thinking about pic #1........ Sorry Pie.:?
