Compost teas without molasses only worm

Hey all. I heard that if I make a worm casting tea and aerate it For 24 hours I need to add molasses. I have none but I red I can use corn syrup Brown sugar. Honey. Any one ever use these. Thanks

Honey has anti bacterial properties; not sure you want that. I’ve used pure maple syrup but use very little. Never tried brown sugar but no reason it shouldn’t work. Corn syrup is highly processed & might be too sweet but might work diluted. You just need a form of sucrose to feed the microbes so they concentrate on making babies instead of looking for something to eat.
