Hey guys i am trying to burn for .AVI files to a disk that will play in a normal DVD player... I tried using windows movie maker, but for some reason says my AVI are corrupt (which they arn't, they play fine in windows media player and Divx player) I am trying to make a video compiled of you tube videos i downloaded, it is for my nephew (5) so i would like if the disk just started and played all the way through, instead of picking each movie from a menu....anyone know how i can do this, or a good movie editing software/

I use a couple programs to do what you are trying to do. First I use this: http://dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-Video-to-DVD-Converter.htm

Then use DVD Fab to burn it, because it lets you burn dual layer sized video files onto a single layer DVD format. If you don't mind the dual layer (the
DVD-R DL are pretty expensive compared to regualr DVD-Rs), you can use the same software linked above to burn it. And it's free, DVD Fab would just
be a free trial for like 30 days I think.

try Convertxtodvd. ive used it for years and it works great. All dvd/cds work in my dvd player. Try it
^this.

Get convertXtodvd 4(or whatever version there on now)

I've been burning dvds for years and have never once had a problem with the results.
