So sometimes I get a shatter, sometimes I get this stuff in the picture, which I prefer cuz it is ultra stable and almost like a cruble solid.
Sometimes I get these variations from the same batch in the same oven at the same time.
Why am I getting such drastic differences?20210123_140513.jpg

This next pic is from the same batch, same oven. The first pic was purged in 12 hours, this stuff is still bubbling at 5 days20210123_140852.jpg

I have also get these 2 products, i use a vac chamber with heat mat...
Other wise Same as you, same material and same purging methods and end up with those 2 products also

I thought it was down to the time, like you say seem to go away and forget for 5 and come back its starting to turn

One has precipitated out crystals and the other has not. A couple of thoughts..........

It is possible that the one that has not, is not still in carboxylic acid state, which it must be to form crystals.

You may have more points of nucleation in one due to plant waxes or other small particles.

It wasnt filtered, just blasted into a pyrex and put onto parchment. I prefer the first pic, may not be as pretty but its stable as hell
