Concerened Newbie With Questions

Hey guys. I'm currently lost in the issue regaurding time the light should be on my crops. I'm currently running two CFLS
and a red/blue 12inchx12 LED grow light
with about ten healthy plants. they all range 5-7.5 inches tall. They are in a sealed reflective box and a installed fan inside for ventilation purposes. I usually run the CFLS with the led untill nightitme and keep the led on 24/7. I dont know if i should be turning all the lights off a nightime. Could someone throw me a couple of pointers? Thanks.

During VEG you can either go 24/0, 18/6 or really anywhere in between. I personally run 17/7 due to security issues. I wouldn't go any lower than that though. Flower is 12/12. Keep all your lights on for the "day" period and all the lights off for the "night" period.

i am new as well but i have heard that is good to give the plants some rest. i did notice my plants responded positively when i went from 24 hrs to an 18/ 6
