Confused about leaf moment, sun and water.

Ok, I lost 4 plants, No biggy. The weather was 110F and over or under water, that was weeks ago.

As a result, and because of my 215 medical issue **Panic disorder**
I get super bad worried plants will wilt and die again.

Although plant #5 managed to pull out of wilt after letting it dry out and being moved 2 feet!
Funny! The plant hated where it was but moving it immediately snapped it into perfect health!

Questions:
1. How and why do plant leafs move, open, close at night and day and why?
2. Photo 3, why do the branches not stand right up like the rest?

I let my 65 gallon grow pots dry out and kind of reset my watering and feeding schedule.
I just now resumed twice a day watering.

I am a worry person,

All photos taken at 9am

All it took was one leaf not to stant up erect and my heat just went crazy.

Are they supposed to stand up?
Why do some look closed?
The sativas are a confusing strain for a complete beginner.

It hit 110f yes. I am at an extreme high elevation where the sky gets much thinner and were actually closer to the sun by thousands of feet.
There is no place like it, sun for miles,

Sun from 6:30am to 8:30am every day.

I had a neighbor visit me and he said its as hot as mars at my place.
His place is much cooler.

Ill back that off to 106f but it must have some kind of heat index because it was a variable blast furnace for about 2 weeks with back to back heat waves.

I almost past out every day while working in the garden.
