granddoggy is good doing their strain fuel now popped 3 hippy private stash they all died have chemmy jones cheese dog and og chem that i havent tried yet

^^^ damn I really wanna see how those turned out (hippy private stash) those are high up on my to do list ..fuel also so I hope u don't flake out on a smoke report and pics later lol ..the cheese dog is dank ..hands down my fav SUPER underrated strain ..I found alot of og kush phenos ..I heard the chemmy jones gets huge and produces alot of top shelf ..the og chem is supposed to be good also if its the same kush bx used in the cheesedog those should be fire ..

Also I say u grab a pack of secret recipe if u can ..nice mix of kush and diesel and it produces ..

Csg isn't like ghs/dinafem/75% of attitude stock ..u don't have to question when u make a purchase its gonna be REAL kush /diesel/ whatever it says on the packet ..good guys

Cheese Dog has no OG in it. Its Brightside cut of Exodus cheese X chemdawg D bx2. The newer Og Chem is actual Pisces Genetics Motorbreath worked to find OG pheno. There best strain hands down in my opinion is SSSDH. They are a decent company and very available on web. (OJD and Truecannablis)

I am 6 weeks in flower on SSSDH, guessing I have 5-6 weeks to go. Starting to form up and fill in and a lot of trich production at this point.

Ive had a few SSSDH and they all finish between 70-77 days.

Ur right sorry bout the confusion ..but I knew it was a bx of one of the kushes/chems ..and the new og chem I haven't tried ..I think people complained about germ problems with the old but can't say how true that is ..and I'm not 100% sure but I think the credit goes to "Rez" for the sssdh I thought it was a joint project but on another forum someone always chimes in with "that's rez's work" but I do kno they both had the s1s for 60 bucks a pack

actually CSG never released SSSDH in S1 seeds. In the begining Rez was cool with CSG using his SSSDH to make there version. Rez then threw fit and got CSG kicked off ICmag for alittle while. Rez then came out with S1 of SSSDH in my opinion to take away CSG momentum. People are complaining about the new OG Chem germination rates not the old ones. I dont mean to jump on you silverhazefiend i just know alot about CSG, i have ran there SSSDH, Grandoggy purp, Chemmy jones, strawberry dogshit, Fuel, and the best out of bunch SSSDH x Chemmy jones that i made.

It's all good ..I don't look at as u "jumping" on me if your correct in your info ..I never really went back to look at alot of the stuff I mentioned but rather recalling from what I read ..ie:me thinking the chem d was a og ..I didn't kno about the whole being off ic for a while ..I kno the forum was moved but I didn't kno it was more to it ..the og chem germination rate I'm just going by what I Read awhile back ..or was it the conni chem ? One of them "supposedly" had bad germs but I never really seen anymore info on it ..I'm talking like a yr or 2 back so that's why I said the old og chem ..

The ssdh confusion had me thinking they both made s1s and then the regs ..but ur right they both made regs and then Rez released a s1 like a month or 2 before or after the initial release ..saying he was trying to be "economical" (although HS sd IBl was 200$ for 10-12 beans) and make it more available ..

I'm gonna do a exclusive csg grow later this yr I'm just buying beans here and there ..and I never tried ssdh but I grew a Ecsd (clone) x Nevs haze that was really hazey and funky I crossed it to my chem d leaning cheese dog male ..I'm pretty sure if I don't tell u the parents u would think it's just another OG .. That's my best csg product lol ..

Fuel is still in flower. Fuel is cross of Original Diesel from Jah Hoover who got it from DNA and was recently verified by JJ-NYC that she is Original Diesel cut, then crossed to the same Chemdawg Bx that is in your Cheesedog. Im hoping for pure Fuel taste with no sour. Not many reports on Fuel out there. Ive finished all others mentioned.

I asked jah in a recent thread about that ..he has some s1s he grew out from it that look dank ..I have the dna sour d in flower now ..I asked jah how come him and OJD got the funky fuel smell taste and all the dna sour d isn't up to par ..but it's the same mom ..

well DNA sour diesel is anything but sour d in my experience with there seed version. The Sour Cream they used in cross to make it changed it so much it isnt anything like sour d . Why use a cross with g13haze in it is beyond me to make a seed version of sour d but thats what DNA did. They should have just S1 it but the cut must be sterile?

The dogshit was ok. All smelled like strawberries or berry in flower and dried bud. The flavor and high let me down though. Nothing remarkable in potency but all yielded great.

They have fems but I don't think it's the clone s1s ..I think it's s1s of there version of sour d ..which is even stupider in my opinion ..sterile ? I kno jah has a handful of s1s and a few crosses he plans to make or made so it can't be that sterile ..using that sour cream male was a horrible move ..I think I also read someone else did the breeding on that like dna used some of its breeders to work that cross ..

Good looking on the straw dog ..I have one more question ..I've been hesitant on buying this one but I might just buy like 5 to test out ..the UK chem ? It's supposed to be orgn kid kush/chem x another og ? This one is never talked about I have yet to see a finished grow smoke report ..

I dont know much about the UK chem. I think it use to be there most OG strain. Im personaly moving on to another breeder. Ive ran most of there genetics one way or another now. I didnt find a keeper in there Strawdogshit or grandoggy purps, hopefully find one worthy of keeping in my fuels. Ive been running DNAs gear to but also not happy with overall potency or quality of high on there OG18, OGK, chocolate Kush. Im open to suggestions on new strain thats you think is worthy of keeping.

Your right about Original Diesel not being sterile, I forgot Jah has S1s going right now he made. DNA really dropped the ball with there fem sour diesel seeds. If they would have just Selfed there cut im sure the cannibus community would think differently of there Diesel. My buddy ran there Sour D fems last year and 3 out of 6 hermi but not bad enough to pull. Not one of them was Diesely or Sour or potent. The end product was more like seedless mids when everthing else he had was crystally and nice.

This thread is old but I thought I would mention I got 3 female Hippy Private Stash in veg right now and 1 male. I have 1 female and 1 male that are super stinky . They smell just like Soma's personal NYCD I smoked in 2001 at the CCup. I grew NYCD for a few years and popped like 30 seeds of her and was never able to get that extreme pungent smelly pheno. I had a lot that were close to the same flavor and smell but never to the extreme of his. Well I am pretty sure I have gotten the closest so far with the Hippy Private Stash. I have yet to flower her but before she was even sexed she gave off that smell and I can't wait to see what happens when she goes into flower. In 13 yrs of growing I have never had a plant smell so potent so early. BTW I had really bad germination rate with these only got 4 out of 11 and they started off really slow also the seeds looked premature but the clones I have taken so far root quickly and are growing much faster then the seed did. I will keep you guys updated once she is in flower.

Any updates on any other connoisseur strains?

Hey.....was that soma diesel that you smoked in 2001...was it piney, trix-ie, fruity....with an undescibable fume/fuel like taste?

Yes, Best way I could describe it is it was like sucking on a grapefruit. Very sour-sweet tart fruit , very uplifting high, made your nose curl up when you smelled the bag.
