I'm dealing with this kind of problem right now, and assessing the damage. I simply removed the stupid extra light I put into my grow, and I'll watch very carefully over the next week. I'm thinking of an early harvest to keep the girls pristine. I already posted that, but since you want to see the size of my "pin-prick" (no, it's not a dick pick)...Well, from what I can tell it's the same color spectrum, it's just weaker. If you're going to tell me the light spectrum is different, that's cool, I'd just like to know how.
I'm trying to establish why, given that information, we fear a 'pin-prick' when a field of weed can grow under a full moon and I could drive my car through that field at night, with spotlights on, with no apparent harm.
Or at least how long it takes, how much light, size of light source, type of light, from peoples first hand experiences.
The one so far, posted above, is far from a pin-prick
I don't want to get off thread, but I wanted to see what those cheap led lights from ebay were like, so I bought 5-6 of them. 3 were D.O.A, one has since died, and one damaged my grow. Nice.
