constant bud

im about 4-5 weeks into my 2nd grow. my first time indoors. i currently have a 250w MH conversion bulb running for 20hrs. i want to know what i need to form a perpetual harvest. id like to harvest one plant every other day or something along thoes lines, even if the plant only yields a quarter. is anybody doing something like that? im just looking for some guidelines for what ill need and how many plants to have growing at once.

check out hatch search him and VV and you will find what you are looking for but i think you can get some weed every two weeks if done right!! you will need two to three seperate rooms or divide up one big room!!

I suggest trying every other month... by having a veg room and a flower room.

You vedge a batch of plants while another batch is flowering, you harvest when its done and then move the vedge plants to the flowering room.

That way the canopy will be more even and it'll be a lot less confusing than pulling 3-4 plants a week

Oh and the 2-3 months vedge time will have you harvesting way more than a quarter per plant

you'll need a mother or mothers (keep them under the 250 mh) always vegging. Buy a 1000w or 600w and build a seperate flower room. take cuttings and add rooted plants to the flower room every how often you want. keep your plants labeled!!

they can have half the room budding and ready for the other half thats vegging and do them a couple weeks apart of each other!

yeah space is kind of an issue for me. i was thinking about getting one of those grow tents. i think i can fit 4 plants in there. i also had another question i forgot to add. i just started my third batch of seedlings yesterday. i been putting seedlings under some low wattage cf lights and they work just fine for a while. i was wondering how long they should be under cf, until i move them under my MH?

Just think about it... if you can put 4 plants in your tent, it takes around 8 weeks for a plant to bud on average, and you want to pull a plant every other day... something not making sense...

you would need 28 plants to pull one a day and I'm stricly talking about flowering...

well, im not a big fan of cfl's so i'd put them under mh immediately! lol

Here's the scoop. you want a 1/4 ounce to harvest every other day...
say you get indica moms that are ready in 9 weeks. since everyother day you remove and add one plant, there will be one plant for every two days. divide your flower time by 2 you get 31 days. with a 4x4 grow tent with a 1000w and a week long veg you can easily pull this off

I prefer a decent sized plant per week, which takes 8-12 plants depending on how long flowering takes. Since you want plants even more often than that, grow a bunch of little single cola plants like that guy. You get out what you put in, if every week you put in 3, then eventually every week you'll get three out.

i just started growing mothers out for my perpetual harvest. forget the every other day thing. if you want to do it to maximaize bud harvest you just have a set up that is divided into four groups.
an example would be starting off 6 plants into flowering, then after two weeks add six more plants, and so on until you are able to harvest every two weeks.
granted if you have a lot of room you could have like 8 different groups of 6 plants you could potentially harvest six plants every week.
the best way to have a perpetual grow imo is to do sog so every plants gets equal light.

also there are plenty of perpetual grow on this site. al b fuct did one where he harvested pounds every 2 weeks.

no problem dude, you just need to have 3 spaces.. they can all be in a 4x8 ft space but wont get them quite so often, for one a week i have 4x8 ft budding room. but you could split another 4x4 top bottom for clones / seedlings and veg growth... i have my 4x8 budding room on for 12/12 and my veg and cloning space both on 18/6 timers.. if you put a new veg in your budding room about once per week.. its safe to say you will pull one out about once per week, of course you have your early finishers and those finicky ones that just dont want to finish for you but yes. You can have fresh stuff every week or two.. of course you have your 2-3 week drying and curing time(s).. i have pics on a thread here that shows my cfl settup.. was going to go all in the 4x8 tent but mystery seeds from amsterdam turned out to be big bud and they grow fat and big fast.
