How's it goin' everyone? I am pre-veg stage at the moment with 5 ILGM Strawberrycough fem. seeds. They are showing their first set of real leaves this week. My medium this go will be HP Promix, mixing in worm castings and Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 as necessary. I have plastic nursery pots from my previous round that I intend on using for this one. I have 1.5, 3, and 5-gallon pots for the entire goround . I'm in little 4-inch nursery pots at the moment and will transplant to the 1.5 gal. soon enough. I have no set time I want to spend in the veg. stage but I will be in a 4x4 grow tent using the Viparspectra KS5000 so there is that. My plan is to transfer from the 3 to the 5 gal. for the last week or so of veg so the ladies have time to settle in before the flip.
lol I guess my question is ... Would 3 gal. transplanted into a 5 gal. be enough space/soil to get them through flower? I can always fill the 3gal. veg pot with 2.5 gal. of soil if that helps.... My goal is to reduce overall costs and not have to buy bigger pots or more soil than is needed.
