Contaminated Cannabis

I read about this recently in soft secrets or some other publication..
Alot of the bud that has glass in it comes from ireland, its usually poor grade bud, thats treated to a coating of powdered glass and usually something to make the buds sticky...maybe a molasses spray or something similar.

Its something that got started by the IRA and other para military organisations..They would get their suppliers in amsterdam to treat the buds with the glass etc.. and it would get shipped to ireland, where the para military groups would distribute it..
It seems that at the time it was the only type of weed you could get in ireland at the time, as the IRA etc controlled everything that came into or went out of the country.

I know some unscrupulous dealers do it, but the glassed weed still remains to be a common practice in ireland even now.

I was just informed by a doctor here that dispensaries in LA have sold bags that were contaminated with lead ... and that buyers have been poisoned. anyone hear about that ?

Lead would be real bad for ya health..
but i think that if you smoked weed with lead in it, i suspect you would be able to taste/smell the 'hot metal' smell that lead gives off.. and your throat would be ripped after a joint.

Scottish farmer, yup it sucks and is a prime example of just how desperate the 'suppliers' are for your greenbacks, and it shows that the old adage of Quality not quantity doesnt aply to these assholes..its not just the UK, it also shows its ugly head in the U.S and other areas of europe...

Unfortunatley this practice has had a resurgence in the last 18mths altho, i have seen it on a fairly regular basis since the 90's.
The other contaminent that seems to be 'popular' at the moment is silica sand.
That stuffs a real lungfuck.

I dont know if you guys know the effects of lead poisoning, but it aint pretty.
