Convince me not too!

So it will be 61 days on Saturday (which is when I want to chop) from when I switched to flower.


I understand there is still some white hairs but they are curly and not tooooo many. My concern is the trichomes.


These are taken from 5 different buds at various locations. I am worried that if I wait much longer I'm going to have too many amber trichomes. This is probably good enough already for me but most people will most likely tell me to wait 2 more weeks. I much prefer the high from cloudy trichomes but the buds look like they could maybe use some more time......? How much more would they swell?
Please be brutally honest and please give me some good input to change my mind lol. I have only been growing for a little over a year now with several harvests under my belt. Any suggestions or opinions are very welcome. Thank you!

I share your sentiments on the amber trichs. Just do it Saturday.

It is a gorilla zkittlez from barneys farm. 56-65 days she says so its in their wheelhouse lol. And ya....my camera sux balls. And its either this weekend or next weekend and I'm scared to wait till next weekend to do it for fear of too many trichs turning amber

I think they are still swelling and will put on another 10-15% in weight in the next 10 days.

Some amber, some cloudy. It really depends on what YOU want. I think you'd be perfectly fine harvesting soon...but like others say you may get some more swelling over another week....but more amber trichs, too. Just depends on what YOU want.

You gotta add two weeks to any breeders claim friend. I’d say check in a week for mostly cloudy always checking the sugar leaves at the top of the plant imho.

I personally would chop, as I like less couch lock that you get w more amber.
Mine is for personal so weight is not a factor for me. But they could put on a bit more while getting closer to couch lock/sleep inducing high.

Thanks a lot guys. Think I might chop this weekend anyway. It is just personal anyways. I am pretty impatient and have nothing to smoke right now lol. I have 3 other ladies I can wait on to see what happens.

Well.......guess you changed my mind . Think I'll go 1 more week and chance the amber trichomes. This is the point where I always havest so i guess I'm excited to see how this turns out. Thanks for all your imput guys!
