Cooling room while using CO2? Help!

Ok I understand what you're saying now. Youre right, there is no positive airflow from the head unit..

So here's where im at now..
Im not sure weather to go with the minisplit or the portable, for the following reasons..

Whichever way I go, the portable unit or condenser unit from the split will be sitting outside my room, in the room next to it. So with the minisplit I would have a hole coming through the wall with the head unit mounted in the growroom, and if I did the portable I would have a hole for the cold air port to blow into my room. However with the portable, I could vent the hot air outside, whereas with the minisplit I can't, id just have to have the condenser unit sitting in the room next to my growroom. My concern with this is, doesn't the condenser unit put out a bunch of hot air? And with no way to vent it, would that make the portable a better option?

they all put out heat, its how they cool. but the portable does put out a ton of heat. you could always use a fan with ducting to suck out heat from mini, just dont restrict air flow on condensor.

So it sounds like the general consensus is that I should definitely get a minisplit.

Again, im just worried about not having the condenser outdoors. It would be in the room next to my growroom. It has vents but the minisplit doesn't have any way of venting the hot air out.

So what do you think the best way to go about it is, exactly?

Mini splt condensor MUST be outside or in an incredibly well ventaliated space. It needs to be mounted out doors, it is not made to be indoors. You'll spend a grip venting it out of a room and create more noise in the process.

But even though its inside, its in a room with a vent leading to outside. So outside air flows freely in/out of the space. So far its warm in there but not too bad. The AC head unit is working great, keeping me down to around 80 or less in my grow space. And its a 20-seer unit, operating temperatures up to like 104 degrees or something, so it should be ok.. I mean think about it, its nothing more than a regular window AC, split into 2 parts.. And in the summertime its not uncommon for window ac's to see temps upwards of 100 and they cool just fine. So the minisplit should work on that same principle. Anyway, so far so good, ill keep everybody updated on how things go.

My only other option is to buy a 50ft lineset from eBay, and then i'd be able to have it sitting outside..
But from what i understand, theres only enough refridgerant stored for the condenser unit and the stock lineset.
So i dont know if a 50' lineset would even be an option... Has anybody tried it before?

Quick question, I am growing in a 5x5 tent and have run duct from my central air into the tent to keep it cool. What are my options for being able to turn this line on/off? I am running an iponic 600 controller and it basically does everything. Im also running C02 and currently the AC is running 24x7 at 70F into the tent to keep the temp at a good level (72-75F). Are there any products out there that would allow me to cut off the AC intake? While the C02 is injecting, my exhaust fans are off but the AC is still on. I am getting the proper 1200-1500PPM so its looking good. Id just like to find a way to cut the AC bill when i dont need it running. any tips guys?
