Cooltube Question

I just got my first cooltube and i realized ive never seen exactly how one of these gets set up. Right now i have a 4 inch high velocity fan pulling air through the duct and pushing it out the other side of the fan. Originally i had planned on pushing air through the light and then then exhausted out of the tent but i was missing some supplies. im new lost and confused so any help would be greatly appreciated

wouldnt you rather unhook the half that isnt pulling air out of the tent. Right now i got my fan outside the tent pulling air through my filter/light/ then exaust? Is this ideal or should i switch mine up.

my hood fans will be on a thermostatic switch/timers. only going to be running when temps reach a certain temp, no need to run a hood cooling fan if it not hot enough wasting energy and possibly keeping temps at too low. my carbon filter fan willl be on 24/7 in the flower room.
