Cooltube with reflector

Hi,

Does a cooltube with a reflector needs additional reflection.

With that setup, no, you would just use that reflector. I prefer a hood with intakes at both ends to make a cool tube. The hood gives you a bigger light footprint.

I wouldn't buy any cooltube that doesn't list the dimensions, especially length. The one in that link looks very small, reason I mention it is because I have 3 different sized cooltubes that all looked the same in the pictures.
Here's the biggest and smallest I have, also the 3rd one is in between those 2 sizes...
