A neighbor saying something and the cop running is not good. These guys are force fed command presence at the academy etc... and in that situation most would have stood their ground and told the neighbor it was none of their business and to move along for their own safety or to not impede an investigation! It's also VERY possible to buy a police/sheriff uniform and masquerade to steal from someone.
The running behavior is very troubling. I'd clean everything up and only keep a few grams around at most. You say you live in your parent's house. Make absolutely certain they know of this (after you get rid of everything).
