I am bored and figured I would share my experience with choppers, police, phone taps etc....
So the story starts 11 years ago when I was 17, At the time my good friend had moved into my house since he had been kicked out of his place. We started selling pot since we had some good connections back then.
First weird thing to happen. One day I was sitting at home skipping school playing play station, hanging with my puppy, getting high as heck as per usual. My phone rings, I pick it up say hello and although I could tell a connection had been made the person on the other end said nothing then hung up. Being me I pressed *69 it gave me the last number that called and I picked the option to dial. Sure enough it rings and within 2 rings someone picked up the phone, I said hello and they hung up on me. So I called back again, this is all with in 5 minutes or less. This time when I called the phone "This number is not in service" was the message I received. Now that was odd, how does a phone do that? I figured it out pretty quickly, I was being tapped. Sure enough from there on out my phone had a bad habit of "clicking" whenever in use.
About one month later my sisters came home one night and told me about a helicopter flying over our house. Sure enough I went outside and checked it out, well I be damned that helicopter really did look like it was hovering over my place. I didn't live near an airport so I figured the worst. I grabbed all my shit money, pot, etc.. etc... tossed it in the car and took off to where my buddy was hanging out that night. I arrived dropped off all the incriminating items and started to head home. Not even 5 minutes later after dropping off the bag of stuff I was pulled over by a police officer.
That is pretty much the story nothing bad happened I was lucky and acted quickly when I knew the heat was near. I wouldn't worry about one helicopter near my place if I lived near a airport, you will notice your phone is tapped long before the helicopter comes along. Phone taps in my experience are almost easy to tell, the phone "clicks" or at least 10 years ago they did when tapped. It seems to turn on and off every 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
