Cops Just Knocked On My Front Door!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I am trippin like a motherfucker right now! Just had 2 cops knocking on my door asking questions that sound like bullshit...Ill lay out the story for you!

Ok so I was in my first grow and it was going like shit...Problems every goddamn week. Getting frustrated and thinking about just starting again. Its in a storage room in my garage and I live on a block of land with about 7 units on it. I live in a beach sort of town so helicopters are the norm but they always made me sketch out...Anyways yesterday there was a police helicopter hovering over my house pretty fuckin low tbh...I thought fuck it, my grow is going terrible and outdoor season starts in like 2 months so I pulled them up yesterday morning and got rid of them. That heli was just too damn low for my liking. And it wasnt a huge loss because the plants were going terrible anyway!

Anyways, this is where it gets weird...About 3 months ago, 2 houses down, someone smashed their car straight through someones fence. A few days after it happened I spoke to the guy when he was fixing his fence. He said the guy didnt have insurance so he had to cover the excess...Anyways, I just went about my business!

THIS MORNING about 20 mins ago I get a knock at the door. Its the jacks...One lady cop was standing at the end of the footpath near my front door RIGHT NEXT TO THE GARAGE! The other was at the door talking to me. I walk out, close the door and start talking. He asks if I remember the crash that happened a few months ago then proceeds to tell me that the guy is now "denying" that it was him driving...WTF...They already got him I thought! He then asks me about the other houses and the layout of the connecting backyards...WTF...THEN... he goes on to tell me that the guy used someones toilet about 20 minutes after the crash and if it was my toilet. I was trippin... He asks my name and says they may be in touch.

What the fuck are they gonna be in touch about? Why would they need to canvass the area because he is denying it was him driving now? That shit just did not make any sense...Im sketching out hard because of the heli yesterday then the cops today. Even the lady just seemed a little to close to the garage, like she was trying to smell something. And if she did smell something isnt that enough for a warrant? Even though there is nothing in the room anymore im worried about getting my door kicked in!!!

It just didnt make sense why they would need to come to my door!!!

Also, ill just add my old man got busted when cops made up some bullshit story just to get close to his backyard. They knocked on the back door when my mum was home alone and said "There was a call about a kid jumping peoples fences so we had to check your backyard"

Boom...Busted for 2 outdoor!

Crotkett and Tubbs always did the knock and talk before they got a search warrent

this does sound weird but at the same time it could be coincidence, esp if there was an accidnet not long ago nearyour home, ifi were you i would clean house and put em all outside off your property with no fingerprints....wear gloves....thats just ME. im a a paranoid fuck

Be safe and be careful but I feel like if they where suspicious they wouldn't have came and talked to you but gotten a warrant and kicked your door in instead. Wouldn't hurt to lay low for a while.

is it legal in your state. I would grab sum tomato seeds or something and make shit look legit. def get rid of anything that might be able to get you locked up no bud in the house no pipes bongs nothing even ashtrays need to be cleaned thoroughly. that sounds to close to me, power companies have been known to give reports of people suspected of growing, and heli's have been using thermal energy to invade people's privacy and make busts. they can use those reading to get a warrant but the smell of bud is enough for them to find a reason to enter your home. if you have any guns in the house make sure u get rid of any weed related items, not nutes tents lights.. guns and weed means your prolly gang related they always hype shit up for a good story for the city..

Cops usually dont go door to door asking about sum1 who crashed there car unless sum1 died.

Kinda sounds like there looking for a witness to me that can put the guy at the scene. Although it would have sketched me out if I had that scenario happen to me.

There just looking for witnesses it sounds like. Your fine although you were probably acting sketchy which made the cops think something was going on.

I don't think the cops really give a shit about 2 plants (if they cant been seen or smelt then why or how could they?), and the chopper sure as hell isn't going to be trying to suss you out unless maybe you have led the police to believe you are pressing pills or something

Nah I got a knack for talking to cops for some reason. All my mates trip out when we used to get approached by cops back in the day...Nothing would of seemed out of order when they came but I got a 4 year old son man. I dont want to put him through the experience of 10 cops kicking our door in while hes watching cartoons on the couch eating breakfast. Its not fair on him you know..

I think im just gonna shut down the room and start outdoors in a couple months...

Oh and also, I ordered something from SR and it arrived in the mail yesterday morning! I had a fake name on the package and the cop did ask my name!! I dunno, im just sketchin and my mind is racing a million miles an hour...

Go with your gut feelin..Only time i've been questioned as a witness on a wreck was by the insurance co.

Yeh I suppose...Im just stressed man. I dont care about me getting caught im just worried about my 4 yr old having to go through that sort of thing!

They are sneaky so watch it. I'd give it up of a while.

In my opinion you probably shouldn't be growing cannabis if everytime you here a helicopter you get all freaked out.

Why the fuck are you going to start back up OUTSIDE? Especially if helicopters fly over often and you have cops sniffing around currently. If you're afraid of cops kicking in your door just try to stay home and aware at all times. They will knock and allow you a chance to let them in if the crime they are suspecting you of isn't violent (I believe). and if you live in a good enough neighborhood leave your door unlocked. From my experience cops aren't insane when executing a search warrant but it sure it annoying, I doubt it will traumatize a kid unless you get cuffed and taken away. So stay safe and get rid of your shit for a while. Keep it at a friend's house at least.

It sounds like they were just sweeping the area with investigative protocol,the chopper flew close by to perhaps survey the area in which this incident occured,choppers dont just randomly scope people out,there has to be information leading them first,otherwise it is a waste of effort.Just chill and breathe deep,if you truely feel youve been compromised somehow,,,then pull the plug, close up shop for a while.

I had a chopper scope my neighborhood the other day for no obvious reason.

It was flying reallllly low. My guess sheriffs looking for mary jane plants in people yards.

No worries for me tho.
