cops outside hydro store

ok so yesturday i was on my way to my nearest hydro store,
there is a cop 3 cars in front of me, so he pulls in the little plaza where the hydro store is, so i just keep going straight and ignore the store,

the cop was just driving around the parking lot,,, so i decided that it wasnt worth the risk getting my license plates written up,

so now Wat do i do? the only thing i buy at the hydro store is soil,
shud i go back soon? or should i find a different hydro store??

this sux i never knew cops could just roam around like that outside hydro shops, i mean i was about to get a few bags of soil, but that store lost some business due to the cops being outside....

what are my options here? order soil online? thanks everyone

dont be noid its not illegal to buy soil. park in front of a differant establishment in the plaza and just do a little extra walkin.

you gonna tell us the store it was so we can stay away from it? If you care about that hydro shop you might wanna let em know too so that they can do something about that.

yeah i know not to be paranoid, its just that it was so fucking obvious the cop was just trying to see who went in and out the store, there is a christian BOOK store next to the hydro store man, and the lot was kinda empty,

i was planning on parking in front of another store but i would still have to load a few foxfarm ocean forest bags,

and the cop was just sitting there,

yeah man ive only been there like 3 times my whole life, and every time in different vehicles,
kinda sad cause that store is pretty kool, and the staff was always awsome, i dont know how a hydro shop with cops outside can run smoothly?

i wanted to call the store and tell them "why is there a cop outside ur store?, but it wud have been very awkward, maybe theyre OK with it? who knows man...

Maybe the cop was just patrolling? Maybe he was looking for suspicious people hanging around outside the shop, coming and going? Cops probably think a bunch of stoners hang out smoking outside the place.

Or maybe the hydro store told the cops that a bunch of people buy their supplies there? Cops can put real or imagined pressure on a small store owner, then they get a bust that makes them look good for promotions, raises, etc. Every job has it's go-getters.

I wouldn't ever get too friendly with one store, find different ones and rotate, pay cash, and always tell people you work for a greenhouse when asked. Google a few local greenhouses and tell them you supply them from time to time.

Not being prepared for any question immediately makes you suspicious.

I wish I had a "hydro store"..... we've got one in new orleans, that has been proven to (at least in the past) have cooperated with DEA.... so i've never been to one.... and i refuse to pay ridiculous shipping, so i've never had the pleasure of trying out any "good" soils....

and I say good call for leaving...esp. if you have a substantial grow kicking.... sure, the cop coulda been doing something legit, like looking for someone or just killing time.. but i'd wager he was a young, ambitious guy that has some kind of bright "idea" about how to fish for suspects/arrests. Like when a white, highschool kid gets pulled over on the way out of the hood, sure, he coulda been there because he took a wrong turn or something, but that cop is gonna assume right off the bat that he either has or is trying to get drugs.... and treat him as such. Same thing with the grow shops... sure, you could just be really finicky about you're gardening, but the cop wont buy it, thus making watching the hydro store make sense to him.
