coral/fish lighting

So I recently picked up some new clones, purple diesel, blackwater, and hula Buddha.
I'm running a max plant growth tube.(pink), two super daylight bulbs,(white), and a actinic 420,(blue). All from petco, and are used for fish tanks. IMAG0361.jpgIMAG0362.jpgIMAG0360.jpgIMAG0370.jpg
Just curious if anyone has (USEFUL) info, or thoughts. My goal is to keep the pics coming all the way through veg.

Between all those bulbs you definitely have broad spectrum light. You will have to see how the plants react as they go. The only issue I would watch for is stretching but that is highly doubtful with what you are using.

Yeah definitely broad spectrum. I have used this hood before and it has made some beautiful plants. So I'm excited to see what the lights do to the plants. They all have a tiny bit of UVB AND UVA in their light spectrum aswell.

Hey, ZooMed doesn't have the best quality bulbs...If you wanna try coral bulbs, you should use a company like ATI or Geissman...Not only do their PAR ratings blow ZooMed out of the water, but they have way better spectrums to choose from as well. It's no mystery that T-5's will grow some kickass plantss if you get the spectrum right.

I dunno how much you paid for the zoomed bulbs, but ATI and Geissman are about 20-25 a piece.

Hey thanks for the info.. yeah I just went with what petco had. And they were about 19 bucks a piece. I did buy another bulb from a different company. But it was junk compared to what I have now. I don't doubt these aren't the best tubes, but we will see how they do..
Again Thx. I'll still be looking up those lights. Just to read up on them and feed my brain. Haha

Ok cool ill read it... And my fixture was just a $40 hood from lowes. And I did have regular tubes my first grow with this hood. They did amazingly.. so that's why I was trying these other tubes. But if everything or nothing changes with these bulbs.. at least I get just a lil more experience and know-how
