I was curious as to approx how many days it can take to fix a deficiency in soil vs rockwool.

I just started messing with rockwool. Needless to say, I got off to a bad start in the beginning.
I pre soaked the cubes and all that. When I checked runoff ec/ ph it was a lot higher than expected. So I’ve adjusted everything to where the runoff and ph is very close to what I’m putting in the rockwool. I was curious as to when I should start to see improvements on the deficiencies. I’m trying to get a good grip of rockwool.
Right now I’m hand watering in veg, but once I hit flower, I have a 27gal res waiting to be used. And I WAS gonna do a SOG, but instead of buying all the supplies I figured I should at least get the hang of 4 plants/ rockwool a before I go full sog. So just trying to see about how many days it could take to correct deficiencies. I’ve always grown in soil, but now in rockwool.
Also, would you consider rockwool hydroponics? Or strictly DWC

When you correct a deficiency the new growth should be happy the next day. Generally damaged leaves won't get better so you are watching new growth to see if the plant is liking what you are doing. You also watch the old growth to make sure it's not getting worse of course but it's not going to get better for the most part.

If your plants are growing nice and fast then you can generally tell the next day if the change you made was good. If they are growing slower then it can take longer to see some healthy new growth. In hydro they shouldn't be growing slow though. pH 5.7 - 5.8 for most strains, a few may want 5.6.
