Cost of Clones?

I'm just curious - for those of you who live in legal states, how much do you usually pay for clones?

$10-20 per clone now it started off at $5 in Oregon

It's pretty much the same in ca.

IF you have to buy them here in Oregon you just go to craigslist. Most are about $20.. Really, you can buy bud there also... buying the container and contents are free... LOL

They are $12 for clones and $16 for teens here in Bay Area.

$7 wholesale and up to $15 for a decent cut in San Diego

I'm familiar with dispensaries in the S.F. Bay Area and Santa Cruz area and they typically range from $12-14 each.

Huh. Well, that's really not that bad. If you get a strain you like, you just keep cutting her and growing her over and over and you're only out 10 or 20 bucks at the front end. I even see you can order clones online - isn't that a risk, using the USPS? I would think it would be a federal crime even in a legal state.

Man, for someone living in a (VERY) non-legal state, it just blows my mind to think of how far some states have come in just a few years. From 1940 to the middle of the 21st Century in the blink of an eye. After all these years of having to be so surreptitious, it would probably take me a decade to get to a point where I was fully comfortable putting a tray of clones or seedlings out on the front porch for some natural sunlight, or something like that.

I know you asked about legal states but I'll chime in anyway. I sell them for 25-40 depending on size and quantity. Obviously the more you want the lower I'll go on price. One of my buddies we usually just swap clone for clone. Only do this tho with three guys I've known a long time and trust.

$30 was for like 2-3ft clones

i am also in SF Bay Area. The only clones i have recently purchased which were really expensive was a new Dark Heart Nursery clone called Sherbet. Not Sherbert or Sunset Sherbet. Sherbet was $40 when it came out. It's still $30. The other one a little over is Platinum GSC at $20. Maybe five others they sell are at $16. Otherwise it's as stated $12-$14 mostly. I usually makes cuttings of clones and seed plants to recoup the investment. I quit cloning Sherbet and did not clone a sister-plant, Key Lime Pie because each was prone to getting Powdery Mildew while nothing else got it. Blue Dream is one of the best and it gets big fast and makes a lot of buds. Sherbet grew fast as well on the initial clone i purchased.

Forgot about Craigslist when I was posting earlier. Here in the Bay Area you can buy anything for about $6-10 if you are brave enough to try CL. There are tons of listings now for less than $10.

I take it as an insult when someone charges me for a clone. That cuts gunna go to waste anyways if no one buys it and it's free to make. That's just my opinion anything over 20 is too much tho a lot of people agree on like 15.
I see these dickheads on leafly and stuff selling them for 50 it's such a shame

Yeah beware of pests, mites, thrips, etc. CL can be pretty anonymous really, especially if you are in a legal state.
