could i pull clones off this one and put it back into veg and possibly get more

Hello all was wondering i had this plant in the 12/12 cycle with hps. I know it's a female for sure. Was wondering if i could still pull maybe 2 clones off it and put back into a veg state and run it on 18/6 with MH bulb, any thoughts on this as i dont want to destroy it or would like to get a cpl clones off it, even if it may kill it. any ideas would be greatfully helpful. you can see the pics by my attached sig, if interested and my journal, thanks again for the input. was thinking maybe could transplant into my hempy bucket or keep it the pot its in.

ok, so i decided to go ahead and attempt to pull 2 clones off. would there be any harm to the mother if i put her and the clones under 18/6 400w MH or would i risk changing sex on mother?

I know you usually put the clones under low light so the won't dry up, like a desk lamp for a few weeks. The mother should be fine switching back to 18/6 if most of the calyx have shown sex.

It really depends on how long you have been on 12/12. I never take clones after the plant starts to make flowers (usually 2 weeks is my limit). After that everything is a crap shoot. I know some people do but I have found it better for the clones if taken sooner rather than later. Why didn't you take clones and flower them instead of the MOM if you intend to re-veg it?

i'm actually experimenting with this, cloning from a plant that is a couple weeks into flowering. and its only been 5 days for me so far. and they are doing fine. they seem weak yes but they are sticking straight up and just eatting the lower leaves. but everything else is still green. just them bastards need to clone faster =P so i can have 2 mother plants!

I was reading something this moring that says its ok to do ...even in lat stages of flower .... The tip was ... Dont take them from the top ... take them from lower down .

I will try and find the thing i was reading .... But it was refering to " Flowering Clones " ..according to the write up they make for great branches when they revert back into grow .

Of course it can be done but folks doing medical grows with plant limits don't have the luxury of playing with how much can I stress this plant and still have it live.
