This has alway been somthing we have all worried about getting in later flower.
(from what i have read) when room temputer is 32c+ it stops bud rot spreading and 38c+ wipes bud rot out

1 hour after watering the plants, stick a raditor on full in the flower room (lights out) and keep a close eye on the temputer and let it get up to 40c for about 30mins.

It may stress the plants but would this work in theory and could it be a good way to deal with bud rot ?

best way to deal with it is good ventilation and air flow. Put your time and money into those, imo
yer I know the best ways to prevent bud rot.
low humidty under 50 and temps over 20c, good airflow ect

just asking if this is a way to kill bud rot and stop it spreading

often question on bud rot is asked and the normal answer is to havest early and thow away any buds with bud rot in

messing with the heat is a bad way to kill it imo. Heat messes up buds and could encourage the rot with increased humidity that comes with it.

In my experience a sulfer pot burner will stop bud rot dead in its tracks, and you can use it up to the week of harvest. Makes your house stink though.

It's in on and through your entire plant. Prevention (before it starts)and suppression (after you get it) . Temperature change and humidity change will not kill it. There is no cure for botrytis , just because you maybe can't see it (after treatment)its never gone.
