Could this work?

So I have extra Aerogarden seed pods, I also have 2 empty slots on my air pump and I was eying this 1 gal container I have. Could I, instead of hydroton, net pot and rockwool, use the seed pod. I mean, I would make holes in the container the size of the seed pod. I have auto seeds, so size of the plant isn't an issue. Could this work? Thanks

as long as you control the level of the water to keep the plug wet.. sure you can grow like this. You would just be making your own aerogarden 6 basically..

Yeah, you could use a styrofoam disk cut to fit into your bucket. Try your local crafts store. Then the top platform will always be floating in your reservoir. You could also easily poke a hole in it to drop your air tube through.
