Could you save this plant ? Could be heat ? Pics inside

Hi Guys,

This is my first attempt at DWC and everything has been going very well indeed until last night I went to check on the plant after changing the rez the night before and I was gutted to see this :(

Basically I am in week 5/6 of flowering with a std Northern Lights strain grown in a scrog - I added the same amount of nutes as previously used and ph'd the solution as always - When I checked the pump last night it was not working correctly and after cleaning it worked fine. So the situation is as follows :-

24 hours without the air pump working - temps at the canopy were up to 35C now as I have moved the light they are at 28-29C - I thought it maybe nute burn so I have just changed the rez again only using 1/2 what I normally use - I have checked the roots and they seems fine but with a little brown hint to them.

My question is what would you guys do to save this plant - AsI was only expecting at most a 9 week flowering cycle I guess my plan was nutes for 1.5 weeks then ph'd water for the last 2 weeks.

PLEASE HELP !!!!!

GADS! Them babies are cooked. Heat stress and suffocation can kill a hydro crop in less than a day and looks as though that was almost the case with yours. Lucky you caught it in time. You still have plenty of green left so you should be able to finish but you need lots of tlc with those. I would get rid of all the burnt foilage as it will just cause you more problems. YOu will be trimming for a while though. They will stress a bit more after the trimming but as long as you keep your conditions perfect or near perfect for the rest of the grow the buds should continue doing there thing and you should be ok come harvest time. Good luck!

Heat stress..Gonna recover but got really stressed. If it wasn't budding I'd mist is well too. Add some superthrive to the water. I don't know the amount for DWC.

Thanks mate - I have sorted the res to 1/2 the usual dose of nutes and I will trim the f**k out of the burnt foliage this evening - Temps are still high but I can do anything about that as the light is at the top of the tent :( - Gonna install another fan tonight too !

I have sprayed them today during the dark period and will check em later - Fingers crossed I get some crop as this is my first scrog - Many thanks for the comments :)

Cheers guys - i trimmed all the dead / fried leaves and i have to say it looks ok now - installed another air pump + stone and another fan so i think she will be fine now ;)

the more i think about it the more i think its down to the pump issue as the previous few days havent. Een hotter than others so i guess the non oxygenated water adversely affected her abaility to cool herself through transpiration - anyway i have backed off the. Utes and i will feed for another 2 weeks or so then 10 days phd water then 3 days dark than choppity chop chop - thanks once again :-)

I do agree man ! I was so gutted when i saw that yesterday but once she gets over the trimming i think i should pull a reasonable yield anything over 2 and i am stoked !

Rule one of hydro always check the god damn pump :)
