could you use an old chest freezer for a stealth cab?

i was thinking about using an old chest freezer for a stealth grow and wondered what everyone thought.it seems like it would be super stealth since it wouldn't be out of place for a freezer to be pluged in compared to a dresser.also it would be air and light tight by nature.and i have seen several on craigslist for free.or what about a fridge?alot of people have a beer fridge in the garage.so anyway what do you guys think?these would be non working of course.

With proper lighting & ventilation, you could grow in a Volkswagon Bus.
So yes, just get one that locks.

sounds doable. The refrigerator has been done before, hell there a guy on here that grow in a gutted clothes dryer, so i'm sure you could make it work.

damn man that seems like alot of work.ok i guess il scratch that off the ole idea list.but props to you for your freezer cab.

it aint gonna get hot if you just put the freezer on a thermastat, have it turn on if the temp is above 85 and off if its below 75, u should be GOLDEN

Interesting idea leaving it as still a functioning freezer to keep it cool. That could probably also ventilate it as well. However, be careful when you start screwing things to the walls and such, you dont want to puncture a freon line. I am sure you could get a schematic for it that would show you how the lines are laid out.
