My res tank is getting cloudy. My ppm seem to keep on rising what would be causing this. my ph is around 5.8. and my ppm is around 654 it has come down about a 100 ppm since last flood. I have transplanted them since tuesday nite and are not really growing that fast any help and maybe they are in shock im not sure.

any ideas what i could do?

I had this happen once and discovered the problem was due to my having mixed nutrients from two different manufacturers. Apparently different brands can have bad interactions with one another. Hell, I've found nutes from the same manufacturer that didn't play well with each other! Anyway, I'm sure there are other possible causes, but out of curiosity, what kind of nutes are you using?

using flora gro nutes 1-2-3 . I just started them on the 2nd since transplanting them into rockwool they are bigger than the ones that are in the cups still, bt they just don't look happy. Droop and shit.

but im using some ph down from petsmart that is sage for plants it worked but the water is clouby. what the shit

Change the res. It's the simplest thing in hydro, anything looks wrong first thing to do is change the res.

Another note: when using fish store pH down, make sure it doesn't have any sodium in it, that won't hurt fish but will kill plants.
