Couple quick Questions

since you are in veg though you dont have to worry to much about the dark cycle being complete, i actually run a 24hr light cycle on all my veg plants. your biggest worry for the few days your gone is they dont dry out i wouldnt water them from the top, but before you leave put about 1/4-1/2" of water in your reserve trays, the pots should suck up water as they need it, and should get you through the next couple day. Get a fan ASAP, 83 is to hot, i would keep your closet open until you can get a fan, GG has it right complete darkness for bloom, but for now you can get away with an open closet.

thats true, i do give my stransplants one night of rest, then its on to 24hrs, i would say i notice a big difference in vegitation. just today i had a couple plants this morning that were 8.5", went back at about 6pm they were at 10", ready to start blooming!

Hey, yeah it was at 83 but I just got back from the mall and its at 79. So I figure ill just crack my closet while im gone. So I should be bottom watering?

bottom watering is controversial with some folks.....I have been warned dead against it very early in my grow ... yet it is all I have done for this grow...these plants have not received one watering from above....the water never sits in the trays for prolly even a hour or so before it is wicked up....maybe I have been lucky...don't know....but I'm likely to stick with what has worked for me so far.

So for a 2 gallon pot and the seedlings that I have. Out of a gallon container how much should I water each pot? half a gallon?

I again do that totally by feel....the weight of the pot and soil and plant when properly watered.....soil moist but not damp...use ur finger.....I'm not sure how else to describe it....at the moment...under my specific conditions....I am wateringclose to a liter for each plant every 12-18 hours.....but I am right smack in the middle of flowering and the demand is quite high.

i personally water from above, but in the event i were to be away for a few days i wouldnt hesitate to throw a couple trays under there and fill em with water... i would rather come home to a little algea than wilted plants... perspectives right!?

that is one thing you have to get a feel for. the first couple of times water until some dribbles out the bottom, then get used to that weight, once your pots start to feel light, water them to about the same weight. The key isnt watering to much at once, but watering to much over time. Let your plant soak up as much water from the soil as possible before watering...

so water till its dripping out the bottom onto the trays? cause I didnt water enough for that to happen

thats just a good way to learn how to guage the amount of water. once it starts to dribble, pick it up, and remember that weight, when you water, strive to keep it about that. Its hard to give you an exact amount of water per pot, as every mix differs.

well I watered earlier after I transplanted. Should I water again till it dribbles out the bottom onto the tray?

nah, your good, just compare weights with the next time you water. go ahead and just wait till the top becomes a little dry. something that i remember telling myself from my very first grow, and have kept with me today, is no regrets, only experience. What that meant to me, was that anything i did i learned from. if i made a mistake, i DID not make it twice, you only get better by learning from your mistakes, not fearing them. ok i'll get off my soapbox now...

well fellas ive been out of comission for the day.

looks awesome ru8fru- seriously, youve got a great setup going now.

you should just be chilling now for a while, just watering, monitoring. Kind of the same place im at with the Ak 47s, nothing too exciting.

i think you are going to be really happy a couple months from now

Just got back, there are a couple issues with a couple of them. Some look a little more yellow that green, and a couple others have some brown spots on them? Any suggestions?
