She got frosty fast!

Tomorrow they will be 5 weeks in and probably about half way done. I'm real happy with the trich production and hope I can maintain it the rest of the way! It would be nice if they were a little fatter at this point, but there's still a ways to go. I need to remember these are smaller plants then the ones from my first grow, so the buds won't be as good either.

I'm going to look for a PH meter and try to get a little more from them with better water. Some of the plants in flower are starting to loose the lower leaves. It's moving up faster than I'd like and it shouldn't be a deficiency unless the PH is locking something out. IMO anyway. :peace:

From what everyone has been telling me in my mystery nug thread, PH is their problem. So I figure if it's causing the problems there it could be causing the PJ to grow slower or not as big or who nows what else it might cause. But the only way to now is to monitor it. I've read recently that the avg PH of tap water is above 8.0 the plants prefer 6.5-6.8. Getting it in range won't hurt.

I think I'm experiencing a similar thing with my pH. I was reading that distilled water will help flush that out until a proper pH meter is used. It's got to better than my hard ass tap water.

I started to buy my water in the beginning of my first grow, but it got to much of a pain in the ass to buy 5 gals every 2 days. I think I'm going to buy that meter that I posted in your thread.. Damn it man, you seem to have a lot of those problems!

It's going to be a problem real soon. I don't usually have a lot of people here. I haven't noticed it when I come in the after working all day, but I was made aware of the fact that my house a lovely scent these days. I'm probably going get what I need to finish my carbon filter this week.

I also ordered that PH meter that I posted the link to above. Hope it helps!

haha You know it!! I've thought about it and I don't know if I'm even going to let ANY of this first batch go. It's a toss up between get money now by getting rid of it, and saving money over the long run by not having to buy so much weed. Yes I said HAVE TO, if you ever met my girl you would understand. :bigjoint:

I appreciate the kind words Doc! I got pretty lucky with her, I'm getting so anxious to get this first batch finished! It's been about 5 months since I started this grow and I haven't smoked anything!! She sure looks like she's going to be worth the wait. Stop in when ever you can, the doors always open! :bigjoint:
