Crack down middle of top!

Hello, I know most cracks and cuts will make a plant stronger over time, but I am worried about this one. The crack happened down the middle of where she was topped which I took some string and kinda held it together. I'm worried once the plant matures more and grows heavier buds, it will eventually crack all the way. What should I do?

If you want, cross the branches over the center of the plant so they are going opposite of the way they were, and it will force the crack together. You will have to tie and support the branches, it will get heavy with flowers, and you will have to help her deal with the weight.

Hold it together for a week or so, and it should form a knuckle. Did the torn surfaces dry out before you caught it?

Yes it dried out. I think I caught it a day late. When I wrapped it, I applied a drop of water right in the crack.

Do you have rooting hormone? If so, go ahead and get some all over that area of the plant.

Sucks it dried out, thats not good. The plant will be fine, you just have to watch her a little closer. It will have like zero negative effect on the buds.

I would totally stick some rooting hormone in there if I had some. I made another attempt at tying her better and I got the two stems to come together and stay. I'll keep it wet in there and hopefully I'm not too late she forms a knuckle.

When you top you get a right and a left side as you already know. Take the left side, and train it over to the right, as you take the right side and train it over to the left. The boughs will cross in the center, and this will help to hold the split together, also preventing the weight of the plant from pulling it back apart.

Thanks, I appreciate your input. I thought about doing that, but I would not like it if the buds or the stems were rubbing each other which is what I think would happen. I also didn't want to go pulling on the stems and trying to train them over one another incase I split her even more. I have plenty of sticks if she needs any more support, but I use to have 2 strings tying both arms down, and I think taking her in and out of the closet I caught an arm and it snapped without me realising.
