Did you use it strait out of the bag? Because usually people add some amendments to the soil to better promote drainage and airation.bongsmilie

styrofoam is the white, pliable, airentraining plastic stuff they use as packing material. Seems like in a pinch you could provide some drainage of a muddy medium by crushing some up into perlite sized bits. Hope the little sprouts are all nice nice.

Just amend the MG soil. You saw it had no drainage. Even the FF needs to be tweaked with some perlite. (I don't like vermiculite since it retains water)

(and I hope they aren't boys, but gals! :) )
Yep just pick up some pearlite for drainage.:peace:

man ive been using urine for years. its high in nitrogen. very little of course. very little molasses too. health waver? certainly not. its not perfectly pure but its not bad. the only admendments that are not organic are the perlite, mycrouise and the wetting agent. its not as bad as what some people use. all my plants eat is urine, molasses and seaweed extract they dont get anything synthetic.

YO! MG Organic Choice is made to be amended into the ground. It isn't potting soil. If you wanna use that stuff in containers you need to mix it with coco or perlite. Potting soil does not need to be amended with anything...... It is perfect straight out of the bag.

Don't blame Miracle-Gro because you don't know how to read a label. It's not their fault you don't know what you're doing.

Transplanted out finally! Got two bags of ocean forest by foxfarm, added some clay pellets to bottom to help drainage, and threw in about 15% more perlite my friend had lying around. I couldnt save a good deal of the roots, during the transplant so well see what happens. ( i ran the soil under lukewarm water until a good amount of of it was washed away)

But at this point, their looking good. Heres the strongest of the bunch, 19 day old hindu kush from sensi seeds in amdam.

Also hooked up some insulated tubing to my squirrel fan and ran it to a flange i drilled onto my 400w hps hood. No glass yet, but its keepin my temps in my closet about 85 even. Plus, where I live it gets cold, so that number should lower sooner or later.

thanks
