i agree.. not only does it not look like a basment,but if this guy lives some were that evry house was built with a basment,like ny,then it would have been built for a reason...and theres no purpose for a "basment" of that sort other than illegal activity.. great fuckn find!
 
and if you live in a town house with the same floor plan you pob have the same foundation. time to cut a hole in your floor
 
well good luck i hope it works out. it'll be hard work with the wiring and digging and trying to get rid of all the dirt but sooooooo worth it
 
Your right its not a basement, its a crawlspace. Its not meant for a living space, more of a service area for the houses mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. There is a good chance your townhome is built on a slab, I wouldn't reccomend any random whole cutting in your floor.
 
Totally worth it... I'm still just shocked though... My friends a lucky son of a bitch... and wanna hear the biggest piss off? He's not interested in growing... he's just interested in the fact that someone else was growing in there.... he's too scared to grow cuz he thinks it's heat cuz he doesn't know how many other people know about that spot... and if someone could come back and jack his plants and shit.... I dunno I think he's being dumb I told him take advantage

just remeber if your friend is renting and some work needs to be done on phone, electric, cable tv, water pipes, sewer, possibly gas pipes or heating fuel there is a chance someone might need to access this area. that is probably why it was there in the first place. also i would try to find out if the person living there might have gotten busted and that is why he is gone. just be safe. it sounds like an awesome area to use if you can be sure it won't be accessed by anyone and no one knows of it.
 
ITS A Crawl space its under most. Town homes U can see the sewer cleanout in ur first picture..Hope the condo doesnt back up..Then again i hope they call me to come unclogg it.. HOA home owners associa. will enter ur property with no permission.
 
if it was anything MEANT to be there why would the tiles be hiding it? if it was an access area for anyone, dont you think they would have a noticible door? not tiling over the hole?
 
Its got an access cutt out its an access panell for the house. If the plumbing under the floor freeze. Or sewer problems. I See them on a daily. They are ideal to grow in. But always remember HOA has the right to enter ur property..
