So I haven't been paying attention...

What's happened with cree 3590s? They were all the rage a few months ago and now nobody is talking about em? Lol

What happened? Just curious...

theres been better cheaper chips for over a year now. theyre still fine, just expensive

what happened is cree basically gave up on cobs, they were the industry leader up until then

Ahhh... I see.

I see I paid top dollar for tech again just before cheaper alternatives came out. Story of my life...lol

You're not the only one! It doesn't matter when you buy the next advancement is just a few months away..
I love my Cree cobs and they pretty much paid for themselves in the last year..
