I surely want to know about the results with the bulb after you give it a go.
I am currently running 250 hps and 250 mh and even though the babies are young, they are showing signs that they are growing wide and low. I'm a noob, but I believe that when the pointy leaves sprout at the same time as the round leaves, and the second set of pointy leaves is sprouting right atop the first means fat and bushy right?
I'm guessing sorta, but it sounds logical.
In my pots I'm just starting to see tap root growing thru rockwool and on to to net pot. How much space would you recommend to keep between rockwool and bubbling surface of nutes (the air gap)? I've read that 1 Inch is a good start?

Indicas are the fat and bushy plants, keeping the light as close as you can without burning them will help keep them squatty. Once the roots touch the water you can lower the water level. 1 inch is perfect, the bubbles will keep the hydroton plenty wet.

The clones are more than ready to go to buckets. I had some trouble getting my hands on a drill. I am going to test my home made res/controller and if all is well will be setting it up tomarrow.
I got my 400watt MH-HPS bulb today. Here is the bulb

yes---they do. I will post more pics tomarrow, they are looking real nice. I also got the 3 C.B. clones vegging on 18/6, under floros in waterfarms. thanx for stopping in man!

I got the veg closet all up and running, they are all Crimea Blue on 18/6 light schedule. I just changed the res today and upped the nutes to 800ppm, 5.7ph.
All is well in the flowering closet, 1300ppm, 5.7ph.
