Crisping fan leaves Purple punch only

this doesn’t happen to any other strain that I have in my rotation and I do have a dehumidifier and fan blowing within my flowering room. Something tells me it would be better just to be sucking the humid air off the top of the room instead of having a dehumidifier at floor level blowing into the middle of the room where I have a fan that blows it around.

Anyway I get a little bit of this in veg too, also but as soon as I switch into flowering it seems the oldest and largest fan leaves will start to get a little crispy

But I also think the previous nights spray of lost coast with a little bit of banish may also add to the drying effect

combined with the dehumidifier at ground level blowing into a fan that’s blowing around the room something tells me the purple punch likes the most humidity of all the strains and doesn’t respond very well to the switch to flowering humidity wise

i’m also starting to think sucking the humid air off the top and out of the room while introducing dryer air through the intake would be a better approach than having a dehumidifier directly in the room as it might create pockets of dry air intermittently along with the fan blowing it could just simply be drying out the leaves a little

Once again this doesn’t seem to happen with any of the other strains that I have introduced to the rotation

seems the older leaves are more susceptible to this

by the way has anyone ever gotten any kind of burn from too many Bennies?

The good news is most of these leaves I can pluck off as part of my defoliation schedule however purple punch needs the least defoliation of any strain I grow

Like I said maybe I could spray with neem oil instead and that would actually act to protect from dry and also create a moisture barrier sort of
