i just harvested my plant and hung the branches upside down for 24 hours in the dark but then by accident the light turned on and was on the whole night and it made the buds sooooo crispy them crumble is there anything i can do to fix this!!? they are in a jar curing right now would it be okay to put a lemon peal or orange peal to give them some moisture?

yes, if you forgot about the jar....

you can also add moisture slowly by breathing into the jar.

i personally would not; peels add flavor. however, it will work to moisten the buds, so it's your call.

well the buds smell delicious but they are very very crispy and i dont think there is enough moisture in the buds how long should i keep the peel inside just to make sure i dont give to much moisture and cause them to mold up?

im sure when you put it in the jar with the lid on tight it will draw the moisture from the stem and and moisen them up.

i would use a very little piece of wet papper towel.

this guy has the right idea.

sometimes ill have bud in my jar that gets a little too dry. to fix this ill add a drop or two of water onto the top. a wet paper towel will work too. especially if its a large amount of buds like you have. If you feel like they are not getting enough moisture by themselves in the jar then add a couple drops. if thats not working put that moist paper towel inside an open ziplock bag(so the buds dont touch the paper towel) in the jar. ive also heard lettuce will work and not leave a flavor. some people even use fresh mj leaves.

when you do this though you MUST watch your buds. you cant just do this and leave for work or something because they can EASILY get too wet. check on it every couple of hours and give it fresh air.

orange and lemon slices do work very well. but i only suggest these if you do not care about the smell/taste of your bud.

I have a large cardboard box that I use to dry my weed. There are times when I find that a misting of the buds help soften them up a bit. A day later they go into a curing jar and darkness. Checked two-three times a day. My problem is I'd like to tighten them up a little. "A harder bud-nug!
