Critical kush harvest

She didnt seem to stop throwing freah pistils either, even with around 20 percent amber...maybe it would of been better had i let her go longer, but the buds nearly doubled in size from that pick i posted@ 7 weeks and i fear the rot with em that fn big.

That's like a 7-10 gallon pot. I checked today and it didn't seem to be root bound. I haven't fed it in two weeks, due to I thought I was closer than I am to harvest. I really have failed on the nute end though. I gave her 24-8-16 a few times in the vegetative state, and just once gave her 4-26-26 in flowering. Definitely will do better next time. Just trying to learn. I just fed her again, then maybe in another week feed her again. Then, I'm lettering her go for a couple weeks with no nutes and take her. That's my plan.

what dirt is it in ? also what`s all that hay ontop of the soil ?

Looks like she needed a better root zone, I mean well done you have some nice bud there but looks for sure like with some tuning you could do way better next time

It's in some organic soil I got from HD. Pine straw on top. To protect the roots I guess.

Never used Pine straw I go with perlite or volcanic or silica rock for top dressing, some people use a layer of sand

I guess pine straw is pretty eco of you, does it keep the bugs away ?

I just harvest my 2 critical kush plants....

Outdoor in 3 n 5 gallon pots
First time grower had mistakes but overall I'm excited
Plants had nugs everywhere

The buds have not even tightened up still airy... like most said before me u definitely have a month to go. But it's getting cold out so you have to pay attention for molds.. especially if u live in a rainy area.GL

How cold can I go? No rain where I am. Just morning condensation.

Has anybody else found that their Critical Kush likes the higher temperatures or am I just tripping? When the grow room is anywhere below about 82F they seem slightly droopy and just generally not so perky. But when it's up to around the 85F or 86F mark for at least an hour they all suddenly start reaching up and generally looking happier and healthier. Would really appreciate some input on this whether you've noticed the same thing with this strain or indeed any other strains.
