Critical Kush part harvest and remaining dwc girl

Hi guys, so I've harvested (some of) my first crop. The three I cut down were in 3 gallon hempy, vegged for 6 wks from seed, all under a 400w. Looks like about 5.5-6 ounces off the three. I have one still flowering in dwc, and she looks like will be the biggest yielder of the lot (probably as expected being in dwc.) My next lot I have 2 being mainlined to 8 tops, they are nearly ready to go and 4 that I have topped just once and see how they go without much training, then I will be discontinuing this strain as it is too smelly(which is good and not good at the same time) SAM_2949.jpgSAM_2944.jpgSAM_2945.jpgSAM_2948.jpgSAM_2943.jpgSAM_2941.jpg

Looks like some really fat ass colas on there. Beautiful! Great Job! What's the smell like on her? I just love stinky strains, but I feel you on it being a bad thing too!

The smell is overwhelming. And it seems to have magic powers, like bypassing expensive carbon filters, seeping through walls and travelling half way down the street. This is my first grow and I thought wtf, until another member said this was the smelliest strain he ever grew, even created a thread dedicated to this very issue. So next strain is a little better I hope/think? Sensi NL#5 x Haze

Magic powers huh, damn! That makes me really want to give it a go! Lol! Is it Barney's Farm Critical Kush, or is it somebody else's?

Very well done Critical,I am absolutely impressed with your growing skills. Can't wait for the smoke report and the next grow. I am just gonna call "shotgun" right now and get my seat for the NL x Haze.

Cool man, thanks a lot for all your comments and support throughout my grow, I appreciate it muchly:smile:. I've got 6 critical kush ready to go soon and I expect them to go better than these, and then I will be doing a full journal on the nlxhaze from seed. :weed:

Hey man looks like a nice harvest your plants look good to and tasty hope my crop goes as well as yours!quick question for you how is the density of your buds because im using a 400w system as well.

Thanks Jwalker, they were pretty hard little buds on the hempy girls, the dwc have similar density but much bigger buds, I kept my 400 at 6 inches, this might be hard to do without a cooltube.

Awesome to hear you can get dense buds with 400w i have 4 400w over my 10 girls and a 400 on the side that moves like a fan across my canopy so im hoping its enough. My lights are probably ten to twelve inches from most of the tops but some are closer. How many girls did you have under one 400w?

Just the four. Probably would have done two in hindsight to be honest. I guess it all depends on their size. Upgrading to 600 soon.

Just a thought i wanted to share with you when i got my lights i looked on craigslist for warehouse lights called highbay lights they are 400w and you can get hps conversion bulbs for them. I got all five of my ballast from some guy for 80$ then bought 200$ in bulbs and im able to spread the light pretty evenly just a thought for you good luck on your upcoming harvest man.
