Critical rapido x with critical mass no thc have i got a problem?

Hi i have a Critical Rapido crossed with a Critical mass (Auto) its been flowering now for about 3 weeks and i cant find any THC on the tri leaves also there is no proper weed smell , basically its smelling as if its still in a veg state is this normal? Im usin canna with all the write nutrients , ive just finished a Packistan ryder (Auto) and i started to see the THC nearly straight away when it is was flowering thats why im so worried about the critical .The Pakistan ryder It turned out great .Here are some pics of the critical , Cheers folks. Any info would be great this is only my second plant .

when you say THC i think you mean trichomes, looks like a turgor pressure issue probably from really high heat or under-watering

more people will be able to help you with if you give some more info like temperatur and humidity and how far from the lights they are, also do you pH before feeding and watering?

Cheers water is always checked the ph is mostly at 5.8,The light is about 1-2 feet away the temps is 81 degrees Fahrenheit with a humidity around 38-45 ,I am also using a hps 250watt in a cupboard lined with the usual it probably needs a bit more water but ive been worried about over watering . thanks for the info .

U need to get your ph up to around 6.5-6.8

That depends entirely on whether he's using soil or coco.


Don't worry about trichomes they will appear. Some plants just take longer. Some are frosted with trichomes and some aren't.


As for your plant, it looks a little hungry.



Let us know the medium you are using whether its soil or coco.

Hi its coco that im usin with these type of newts canna A and B ,Rihzotonic and canna boost , some of the leaves are getting yellow,should i pick these leaves or just let them alone ? Is all the leaves on this plant giving me that veg smell ?

Don't worry about the smell right now.


Are you following a feeding schedule at all?

Or are you trying to wing it?


Are you testing the strength of your nutes when mixed with water?


IMO (I'm a coco grower too) you need to increase your A and B a little more.


How are you feeding? With every water? With every other water?


In coco its a hydro medium so you should be feeding everytime.


By monitoring your nutrient strength before feeding and then collecting the 20% runoff, which you should be getting, and testing the strength of that you can see how they are reacting to the feed.

Hi yes i am using a schedule and i have kind of started to wing it which i will tell you in a sec , when i water it takes 2L with a 20% run off ,i was told this was ok so i have stuck to this, i do check the ph before and after . Plz let me know if the feed is wrong the only thing is thats not on the schedule is the canna boost which i use 2ml per litre when I feed. I usually water or feed now every 2nd day , I feed With every other water ..... This is the schedule i started out with, before i had to water or add the feed every 2 days ,so i suppose i have started to wing it a bit ,but i have stuck to the amount of feed on the schedule for E.G 3ml A and B per litre .

So am I right in thinking that you are feeding for example on day1. Then giving plain water on day 3. Then feeding again day5?


If so just step up to feeding everytime.



This is how green they should be.




I use canna nutes and coco. But I don't use the coco specific nutes anymore.


They are day 37 of 12/12.

Next time I highly recommend going to the canna website and doing their nutrient calculator based on light feeding and feed everytime you water.

Also FYI you can use canna coco A and B from the word go.

No need for the FORMULEX.


4ml Rhizotonic and about 0.5ml of A and B per litre.

she has about 15% of her buds hair (not sure what u call this) are going brown.

You've still got at least 2 weeks left.


Keep feeding at your current strength until virtually all pistils(hairs) are brown.


What I do in the last week is reduce my nutes by half.


So if you're using 4ml per litre of A and B cut back to 2ml per litre of A and B.
