I think I might have a problem - the sliding door to my closet grow room is crooked and as a result there is a big slit (1/2" wide or so) that runs half way up the closet. I would imagine there is no problem with this during the light cycle but can light that creeps in during the dark cycle hurt the growth of my plants? My plant is WAY too small for its age at 4 weeks old. I have the dark cycle on from 2-8 am each night so light may seep in when I go to the bathroom, etc. or when sunlight starts to come in from outside starting at around 6-7 am.
Do rooms need to be completely "light-tite?" Is this what could be causing a growth problem with my plant?
