Hello all,
I have a Week 2 update.
I only took a few photos before the lights come on,
and the HPS makes distinguishing one plant from another
difficult, but things really are doing very well.
I did not move fast enough when some gnats showed up
and had a fair little mess when I acted. I tried to get the
right nematodes, but failed when I looked locally (I will
try again).
So I added 2 ml 35% H2O2 per gallon to my next feed and
then dressed my plants with food grade diatomaceous earth.
Things are already looking much better. The last few stragglers
and I am done with them.
Lights off, the day before yesterday:
Lights on, today:
Check out the crazy structure on this Blue Cheese in the corner:
I supercropped it because it was getting too far ahead of the rest of the canopy.
Note:I took growth from the plants of my last crops SOG high enough to have
gotten those long branches coming up from below. This time, I decided to test
the no-defoliation way for this grow.
....I am growing such a fun bag of breeds that I will be happy for whatever I get.
Here is a very lovely Chem 4 OG:
I have been banging on the Deadhead OGs, supercropping them,
but they are still among the tallest:
The small amount of extra Veg time is still giving the Hawaiian Snow
a strong advantage. Here is the HS, after lights out, and lights on.
Note that this plant has two tops, but I bent them over and the result
looks a lot like an 8-topper with two extra buds which are the tops
that have grown back to join the new canopy:
Here is a great Purpleberry BX, followed by a closeup:
Last word for now....here is a shot a Somango bud....not the largest
that I have, but a pretty picture before the grinder. Also the mothers
are recovering from a hard trim where I culled weaker growth. They
will have two months to recover.
Take care all,
JD
